Micro moments turned into macro scale, Chesca Athas obsesses over the culture that consumes us today. In her new body of work, Fandom; the artist drools over iconic junctures with minute detail and devotion; where the speed of paparazzi imagery is slowed down irresistibly through her touch. As time is stretched, and glamor preserved, the pencil labors over what the camera captures in a fraction of a second.
